We don’t have a dishwasher so wash by hand at the moment and have found the dish pod to be great lots of soap suds and cuts through the grease and grime of everyday cooking. Not Sure how long one bar of soap will last using it 3 x a day. But so far i think it’s great.
Lasts longer than standard dish liquid, and works just as well.

While I don't use this product for my main dish washing, I do love it for running water into a pan, or roasting dish, or other single item, which I have cause to do most days. It's also great for hot soapy water for soaking and is great at cutting through grease.
Am loving my dishpod, really cleans the dishes with no residue, a great cheap alternative to dishwashing liquid.
Very easy to use and set up. Good packing. And works a treat. Would look forward to options for the soap block in future. Definitely will order again
We're divided on this one - I like it but my husband (who does sometimes do the dishes) is not happy - and I have to agree the product loses the soapy bubbles quickly (within a minute) but I know this is something we need to adjust to - those soapy bubbles aren't wise for the environment so it's a case of GET USED TO IT. In the meantime the idea is wise and well worth the persistence.

This is an awesome product, it does exactly what it is meant to do, i.e - wash dishes and cut through grease, and at the same time it reduces what we are putting into the landfill! I'm converted now to convert others! Once you try it you won't look back! Thanks team Dishpod

Loving my dishpod! Onto my 2nd bar this year. Not only does it look good on my bench with its clean nutural look, its easy to access (rather than opening my cupboard to get a bottle out), bubbles up lovely (when hot water goes through), smells devine, cleans brilliantly, lasts for ages and best of all no nasties and no plastics filling up my bin. I'd love to see Dishpod bring out dishwasher tabs. I'd buy those too😁 I'm sold!
It’s conveniently sitting by the sink, easy to use, incredibly good at cutting into greasy dishes and makes me happy knowing it doesn’t contaminate the earth.
Such a fantastic product, the soap washes the dishes really well and its not an eye sore in my kitchen sits neatly on the kitchen counter beside the sink in the little tray. Highly recommend this product.
I love the idea behind this product! The commitment to reducing plastic waste is great, and the packaging is simple, eco-friendly, and well-designed. The concept works really well for anyone looking to make a positive environmental impact, and I’m all for supporting this shift away from single-use plastic.
That said, I do have a bit of a caveat when it comes to the actual performance of the soap. While the product is effective at cleansing, I found that it doesn't produce quite enough foam or soapiness for my liking. I really enjoy products that create a rich, bubbly lather, and unfortunately, this bar doesn’t quite deliver on that front. If you're someone who loves a good, foamy lather, this may not fully meet your expectations. The lather feels a bit more minimal compared to some traditional dishwashing liquids.
I understand that many eco-friendly bars focus on using gentler, more natural ingredients, which might not always produce the same level of bubbles as their conventional counterparts. But if there's a way to boost the foaminess—without compromising the natural composition—this could become an even more enjoyable product.

We’d love to take a moment to address your thoughts on foaminess, as this touches on what we call the “bubble myth.” Many conventional detergents rely on synthetic foaming agents to create their thick, rich lather. While these bubbles may look satisfying, they don’t actually enhance cleaning performance. Instead, they often come with significant downsides, such as being harsh on the skin, harmful to aquatic ecosystems, and unnecessarily toxic during manufacturing and disposal. They also often leave a residue and that soapy taste.
The Dishpod is designed with a different focus: cleaning effectively and sustainably, without any unnecessary additives. This means the bubbles may not last as long as traditional soaps, but rest assured that the detergent is still working hard to cut through grease and remove dirt, even after the foam has dissipated.
That said, there are some simple steps you can take to maximize foam with our product. Namely, make sure to use hot or warm water at full pressure when activating the bar. This helps generate more bubbles and optimizes the bar’s performance.
